"Schönheit sei nicht in den Objekten selbst zu suchen, sondern im Schattenspiel, das sich zwischen den Objekten entfaltet. Gerade wie ein phosphoreszierender Stein, der im Dunkel glänzt, aber bei Tageshelle jeglichen Reiz als Juwel verliert, so gibt es, ohne Schattenwirkung keine Schönheit." The outfit called “Crystal“ embodies the silhouette of a roughly ground crystal and is refined with crystals by Swarovski Elements. This dress was featured by photographer Jackie Hardt and exhibited during the Berlin Fashion Week 2012 in Chén Ché Teahouse.
Typical spatial symmetries of the crystal were considered during the design process that consisted of pattern making as well as digital printing. The self-created printed motif found in the kaleidoscopically symmetrical arrangement on transparent silk symbolizes the fragile delicateness. This is in contrast to the robust fabrics in anthracite and black. Equivalent surfaces assemble individual shapes of crystals, which seem to grow out from the garment similar to an architectural construction.

Important aspects of wabi sabi, an old Japanese philosophy, are applied to this contemporary fashion collection: The ancient knowledge of beauty, as well as the aesthetic of imperfection and unpretentiousness.
This fashion collection represents the reflection of the far eastern aesthetic as the basis of a modern need. There is a social consciousness to other ideals, an awareness of finitude and the questioning of standards. The harmonious concept embodies the symbiosis of an original, oriental philosophy with the profound idea of a contemporary ideal of life, which epitomises the core of sustainability.

The subsequent collection „Organic Origami“ symbolizes an innovative and graphical symbiosis of the ancient Asian art of folding with the female silhouette. The outstanding part of this collection is the transformation of the traditional paper origami converted to a variety of fabric qualities such as transparent organza and durable wool.
The exciting mix of materials adds very different impressions to the folding technique. The three-dimensional origami tessellations are integrated in various sizes, always based on the golden ratio. The advanced pattern- making adapts to the female body. To visually underline the purist design of the collection, the colour and mood is kept exclusively in a cool black, white and anthracite.

A sponsorship by Artoz Papier AG. enabled the cautious approach to the more than 1,000-year-old Japanese art of origami in folding handmade silk paper. The extraordinary paper sculpture of ornaments like stars in various sizes was based on the traditional paper art and modular structures of contemporary architecture. The elaborate design and quality of the model guaranteed participation in the Berlin Fashion Week 2010.
